Wanderlust, family joy & always choosing the positive side of life ✨

There’s something truly magical about Tokyo in spring. The moment those soft pink cherry blossoms bloom, the whole city feels like a dream. On this trip, we set out to experience the best of Tokyo—history, food, and family discoveries—all in one unforgettable day!

A Little Bus Adventure

Our first stop is the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus—a great way to see more of Tokyo without the stress of figuring out the train lines (haha, moms know the struggle! 😂). We got to enjoy panoramic views of the city, including more sakura spots along the way. Definitely a fun and easy option, especially for families.

Asakusa: A Beautiful Blend of Culture & Cherry Blossoms

Our next stop was Asakusa, one of my favorite places to soak up traditional Japanese culture. As soon as we stepped out of the station, the soft breeze and sakura petals welcomed us like a warm hug.

We made our way to the famous Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest temple, where people come to pray for blessings and good fortune. Right beside it is Nakamise-dori, a lively market street filled with cute souvenirs, yummy snacks, and gifts you can bring home to your loved ones. Every corner looked like a postcard!

We also enjoyed a peaceful stroll under the cherry blossoms—those iconic pink clouds we all dream of seeing in Japan. It felt like stepping into a movie scene.

Searching for the Best Ramen in Town: ICHIRAN

After a full morning in Asakusa, we headed to Ueno for lunch and adventure! Our target? The world-famous Ichiran Ramen. And yes, we waited 45 minutes in line. And YES—every minute was so worth it! 😆

Each person gets their own cozy ramen booth, where you can customize everything—from the broth to the noodle texture. One sip of the rich tonkotsu soup… ahhh, heaven! 😍 A must-try food stop in Japan.

Ueno Park & Zoo: Family Fun Time 🐼🦩

With happy tummies, we continued the day at Ueno Park. The sakura here were just as stunning—perfect for photos and quiet walks. The park is huge, so we picked one spot the kids would enjoy most: Ueno Zoo!

We only spent around 1.5 hours, but it was enough to see pandas, red pandas, giraffes, and even pink flamingos! The joy on everyone’s faces made the trip even more special.

And yes, we got a little lost on the way… thank you, Google Maps! 😂 Travel Tip: Budget Guide • Ichiran Ramen – 890–1100 yen per bowl • Ueno Zoo – 600 yen • Ueno Park – FREE • Train tickets – around 500 yen for multiple stations
